The Greater Canonsburg Chamber of Commerce has found a couple to wed at this year's Oktoberfest celebration and you are invited!!!!

Jamie Penderville of
McDonald, PA, daughter of Rosemary and James Penderville, and Charles Harn
of Fredericktown, PA, son of Laura Smith and Clifford Harn read about an
essay contest in the online Observer-Reporter.
Jamie never dreamed that an essay telling her love story would lead
to an all-expense paid wedding with a guest list of 10,000, the expected
turn-out for the 2011 Pennsylvania Bavarian Oktoberfest in Canonsburg, PA.
On September 18th at 2:30 PM at the Street Stage on Central
Avenue and Pike Street in downtown Canonsburg, the winning couple will be
married by Judge John DiSalle.
Jamie and Charles
will be the first couple to begin this tradition at the Pennsylvania
Bavarian Oktoberfest. They are
happy to share this special day with the community.
Jamie and Charles both have strong ties to the Canonsburg area.
Jamie is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and is finishing
her degree in Criminal Justice at California University.
Charles attended Beth Center High School and Penn Commercial.
